A space to slow down and reflect
A collection of gentle reads around therapy, mental wellbeing, and the things we don’t always have the words for. You can come back to these in your own time, whenever you need a moment to pause, reflect, or feel a little less alone.
Why talking to someone can help more than you think
It’s easy to believe that you should be able to handle things on your own.
That you’ll figure it out eventually.
That other people seem to manage, so you probably should too. And sometimes, you do manage.
You get through the day.
You keep everything going.
You carry on.
You don’t need the right words to start therapy
One of the most common worries people have about starting therapy is this:
“What if I don’t know what to say?”
It’s such a quiet thought, but it holds a lot of people back. Because it can feel like you need to arrive with a clear explanation. A beginning, middle, and end. A way of neatly putting everything into words.
But that’s not how it works.
When everything feels like too much
There are times when everything just feels… heavy.
Not always in a way you can explain.
Not always because something big has happened.
Sometimes it’s just a build-up of everything, small things, big things, things you haven’t had time to process, all sitting there at once.
