You know something needs to change.

This is where that happens.

Psychological therapy that gets to the bottom of what's really going on, not just how to cope with it.

Online and in-person from Llanelli, South Wales.

Wherever you're starting from

Whether this is your first time or you’ve been here before.

Maybe you've never done therapy and you're not quite sure what to expect. You just know something isn't working and you're ready to do something about it. That's enough to start.

Or maybe you've tried therapy before and it helped up to a point, but something keeps pulling you back. The same thing, on a different day. You're not here because you haven't tried hard enough. You're here because understanding something and actually changing it are two different things.

Either way, this is the right place to be.

Sound familiar?

However you'd describe it, this is where we start.

Why do I keep ending up in the same place, no matter how hard I try?”

You've probably decided you're the problem. The relationship that keeps breaking down. The friendship that's gone quiet. The thing at work that goes wrong again, in a way that feels a little different each time, but really isn't.

You've probably tried to manage it: over-explaining, over-functioning, doing that bit extra so nothing goes wrong, or pushing it all away so you don't have to face it, feel it, or think about it. And afterwards, you feel worse, not better. Like it's just more proof that you're the problem.

That belief is exactly where the work starts, not by managing it more carefully, but by finding out what's actually underneath it.

“I know something isn't right, I just can't explain what it is.”

Maybe what you're carrying is something more specific: the anxiety that flares before anything's actually happened, the panic that arrives without warning, the moment from your past that still catches up with you when you least expect it. You don't need to understand why before we start. Sometimes the most useful thing isn't understanding it. It's simply not carrying it anymore.

“I just want to feel like myself again.”

Maybe the ground's just shifted under you: a relationship ending, a bereavement, becoming a parent for the first time, a diagnosis, a job that's gone, a move you didn't expect to make. Nothing needs to be wrong for this to knock you sideways. You're not in crisis, you're just not sure yet how to find your footing again, or what comes next.

Not talking indefinitely. Not insight that fades by Monday. Real work, at your pace, that holds up in actual life.

This isn't therapy that goes round in circles.

Working out what's actually going on shouldn't take years of talking about the same things with nothing changing. It should mean specific, purposeful work that gets you somewhere.

Imagine leaving a session knowing exactly what's underneath it, after carrying it for years. Understanding why you keep ending up in the same place, and having something concrete to reach for before you get there again.

This is what you can expect when we work together.

I bring eleven years of clinical experience and three evidence-based approaches to every piece of work: Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma that talk therapy hasn't touched, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) for the moments that feel unmanageable, and Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT) for the patterns that keep playing out. Not one method applied to everyone. The right tool for what you're actually carrying.

How it all works

A free 15-minute call to start. I'll get a clear picture of what's going on and give you my honest read of what might help. Even if that turns out not to be me.

Here's how it rolls:

Step 1. Free consultation

A 15-minute call to talk about what's brought you here, what you've already tried, and what you're hoping for. You'll leave with clarity about whether we're the right fit.

Step 2. First few sessions

We build what's called a formulation, a clear picture of how everything fits together: where it started, what's keeping it going, and what needs to shift. It's the difference between this being just how you are, and actually understanding why.

Step 3. Ongoing sessions

50 minutes, weekly or fortnightly (90-minute sessions are available for EMDR work when that's helpful). Specific, practical work at your pace. No set number of sessions, we review as we go and finish when the work is done.

Step 4. Between sessions

Something concrete to notice, try, or practise. Not overwhelming. Just enough to keep things moving outside the room.

Fees

Straightforward information on cost, insurance, and current availability, so you know exactly what to expect before we speak.

Not sure if therapy is right for you?

That's completely normal. Most people who get in touch aren't sure, they just know something isn't working and they're tired of it.

You don't need a diagnosis, a crisis, or the right words to reach out. You don't need to have it figured out before we speak. The free call is exactly the place to work out whether therapy is what you need, and whether I'm the right fit for where you are right now.
